Hi there, I'm Paige Jones
Born and raised in Homer, I've decided to take a leap out of my previous career as a firefighter/EMT to pursue my passion for helping others in a new way. Like so many others, movement is a lifeline to my mental, spiritual, and of course, physical wellbeing. But with all the noise echoing across the internet of what the "best" movement practice is, it's downright challenging to make a plan and stick to it.
Sports, CrossFit, hiking/long distance running, strength-training, and most recently, pilates, have all been a part of my fitness journey. This array of modalities has lead me to believe that there is no "one size fits all" approach to exercise, because frankly, they all worked. Each serving me in the way I needed over the evolving seasons of life. Bottom line? Our movement practice should enhance our lives - not take away from it.
I focused my formal education through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) on strength-training and pilates, in order to support my clients in moving, feeling, and performing better in the activities they love most. These modalities overlap into every part of our lives, from carrying groceries to training for a marathon, giving me the opportunity to create programs tailored to what's important to you.
I integrate training with nutritional guidance and habit formation to enrich your fitness journey and partner with you in a well-rounded manner - that means meeting you where you are, understanding what excites you, and building a plan that supports your goals without forcing you into a mold.
